In 2014, I had a professional headshot done by my former employer. My co-workers, at the time, joked that I looked like a real estate agent on the photo. So, when I began my career in real estate last year, that’s the photo I used for my profiles and business cards. I liked the picture but I wanted something different. As a result, I started searching for a photographer.
I found Henry Jones Photography from a post in a Facebook group. I began following him on Instagram and really liked his work. Finally, one day, I sent Henry a message telling him that I liked his work and wanted him to do my new photos. The rest is history.
During the weeks prior to my session, Henry and I discussed what I wanted for my images. I didn’t want my photos to have the standard Realtor® pose. You know the one. The agent is standing with his/her arms crossed. Didn’t want that! I wanted the images to be professional, yet show my personality.
The days leading to my session were a little stressful. I’d told Henry that I wanted to do some outside shots outside. Multiple weather forecasts called for rain on the day of my photo session. Fortunately, the rain stayed away. I’ve received my images, and I’m pleased. Henry listened to my wants and needs and captured everything to a tee.
