Something about me: I have a LOT of food allergies! One of my triggers is seafood. A lot of Asian foods contain fish or oyster sauce. For that reason, I don’t go to Asian restaurants. However, there are times when I want Chinese food. So, one day, I searched for recipes on Pinterest and found this one. It is SO easy…and delicious! Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1 bag dry coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage and carrots)
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
- sliced green onion
DIRECTIONS
In a small bowl, combine garlic, ginger, and soy sauce. Set aside.
In a large, deep skillet brown sausage. Once sausage is cooked through, add dry coleslaw mix to skillet and stir to combine.
Pour soy sauce mixture into the skillet and stir. Cook over medium for about 5 minutes or until cabbage is wilted, but still a little bit crunchy.
Serve with sliced green onion.
