Peach cobbler is one of my favorite desserts. I wanted to learn how to make it. However, most of the recipes I found required a lot of work. (In my opinion, LOL) I kept searching, and I found this recipe. When it has finished baking, the dough isn’t a hard crust like it is for most cobblers. I still like it, though. It’s really easy, and it’s delicious! Enjoy!
EASY PEACH COBBLER
Ingredients:
1 cup Bisquick
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted
1 cup sugar
1 can (29 oz.) sliced peaches, drained*
Directions:
Heat oven to 375 F. In a bowl, stir together sugar and peaches. Set aside. In a separate bowl, stir together Bisquick, milk, nutmeg and melted butter. Pour into an ungreased square baking dish (8x8x2 inches). Spoon mixture of sugar and peaches over batter in pan. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until golden.
*I use the peaches that are packed in juice and/or water. Using the peaches that are packed in syrup tends to make the cobbler too sweet.
