Beat: When makeup applied to a person’s face is so powerful and amazing that it makes them look truly stunning. Yesterday, I got my face beat by Kimberly H. Shell, the owner/operator of Beats II Beauty Makeup Studio.
A month ago, I scheduled a photo session because I wanted new images for business purposes. I figured out what I would wear for the photos but I also wanted to have my makeup professionally done. My makeup application skills are okay for my day-to-day look but I wanted more done for the photos. My sister had suggested a makeup artist, and I made an appointment with her. Unfortunately, she canceled on me 5 days before the photo session. Where was I going to find another MUA (makeup artist), on such short notice? I put a post in a Facebook group to which I belong, asking for recommendations. Multiple people responded and recommended Kimberly. Also, when I saw pictures of her work on Facebook, I was VERY pleased. I sent her a message to ask about her pricing and to see if she was available. She was available! Yes!
This was my first time having my makeup professionally applied, and I was a little nervous. When I arrived for my appointment, Kimberly asked why I was having photos done and how I wanted to look. She nailed it! I was very pleased with my finished look. Kimberly is very professional, highly skilled, and she’s a sweetheart. I really enjoyed my time with her.
