Last month, a dear friend told me she would be in town in a few weeks. She invited me to have dinner with her and another friend while here. A few days before she got to Columbia, she told me that we would be going to The Grand on Main. Yay! I’d been hearing about The Grand since they opened but hadn’t been there yet.
About The Grand on Main…
The Grand on Main is a boutique bowling alley, restaurant and bar in downtown Columbia. It opened in the fall of 2017. The Grand takes its name from the vaudeville theatre that occupied the building from 1909 until 1914. Over the past several years, there has been a great effort to revitalize the downtown Main Street area. The Grand made a wonderful contribution to that effort.
What I Like About The Grand on Main…
My visit to The Grand was a great experience! I loved the atmosphere, and the food was delicious! I had the meatloaf dinner. The meatloaf is wrapped in bacon (yum!), and it is served with mashed potatoes. The meatloaf also comes with collard greens and corn cakes. The Grand is a great place to hang out with friends!
